Halloween was a success. Jennifer got the costume done. Candy was accumulated. And Presley realized her dream to be Herbie The Love Bug.
In case you were wondering, yes, it is an extreme butt-ache to escort a six-year-old that's wearing a four-foot-long foam Volkswagen, as seen below. (Some of you may recognize the house.)
She's already making plans. Next year, it's the Pink Panther.

I had a Herbie bowling shirt on.
I'd like the think I'm more the Dean Jones type, but I'm afraid my intellect places me right square in the middle of Buddy Hackett territory.
By the way, Dean supposedly owns the Porsche-powered #1 Herbie car from the first movie. God, I'd love to tool around LA in that thing! 100 mph in a Beetle is a very scary (to say nothing of shaky and rattly) ride!
Oh, I meant to say also that your wife did such an AMAZING job in constructing this costume!
I suggest you hang it in a place of honor now that Halloween has passed.
